Eco-noeing is the original canoe trip on the beautiful Ord River, established in 1991. Since then it has built a great reputation as a scenic and rewarding self-guided adventure, and a fantastic opportunity to experience this unique environment first hand.
Originally only offering a 3 day tour we have grown with our 12 seat 'rescue' boat 'Crocodilly', to also offer one and two day trips, all of which were recognised as official eco-tours in 2003. So choose from the tours below knowing you will be enjoying a fabulous outdoor activity and ensuring it will remain as pristine and spectacular for the future.

A magical day on the upper Ord River begins with a 75km drive from Kununurra to Lake Argyle. After a short stop to view this huge man-made lake you are off on the gently flowing Ord for 23kms, cutting through the magnificent Carr-Boyd Range in a 2 person Canadian Canoe. We supply an esky (cool box) to keep your lunch and drinks cool and a watertight barrel for your camera & valuables. During the day you can paddle, swim or photograph as much as you like, then after 1.30 pm our boat will pick you wherever you are on the river - Maybe you'll make it to camp! After pick-up your guide will take you bush walking to explore secluded hideaways, swim in crystal clear waterholes, and on the 32km boat journey back to Kununurra you'll see Kimberley creatures in their natural habitat, plus an unforgettable sunset.

This trip offers all the attractions of the 'Sunrise-Sunset' tour plus an overnight stop at the environmentally designed Cooliman Camp, which features BBQ facilities (with firewood supplied) plus gas burners, water and shower facilities fed by a natural spring, eco-toilet and above ground sleeping platforms. We also supply swags, mosquito domes, cooking and eating utensils and another larger barrel for you to pack your clothes, food, drinks and any other items that you bring along. Your second day is spent exploring, with the help of the map supplied, indicating where to find waterfalls, swimming holes, bird-life and sandy beaches - The day is yours to take in the majestic scenery of the Ord and all it has to offer. At 4.00 pm our boat will pick you up around Stonewall Camp for your scenic journey 23km back to Kununurra.

This is the famous original self-guided canoe trip that allows you to fully explore the wonderful upper Ord River as you paddle the whole 55km back to Kununurra, continuing on from "A Paddle In Paradise". You can explore all of the bush-walks and waterholes (from the guidebook we provide) at your own pace and stay at Stonewall Creek Camp for your second night, returning at your leisure through Lilly Creek Lagoon on the afternoon of day 3. The tour is the best value as you arrive back in Kununurra under your "own steam". We will come and pick you up (from the shore of Lake Kununurra) when you call in or cruise and choose The 3 Day Plus....This involves Boat Pick Up on 3rd day from Stonewall Camp, continuing on on from "A Paddle In Paradise" with an extra night camping and all day to explore the spillway before the afternoon pick up - $260pp

EXTRA DAYS AVAILABLE FOR $40.00 PER DAY
